Check-In Before Spring Break
I do not have too many specific plans for the week which I am totally fine with. I look forward to having no agenda and just getting anything done around home or even getting ahead on homework. Most importantly I cannot wait to just have time to relax.
I am starting my spring break slightly early as I will be going home Thursday after classes. My family hosts a fundraiser to support breast cancer awareness every year in the month of March. This year it is this Saturday March 8th. I am going home a day early to help prepare and get everything ready. We typically have about two hundred family members and friends come out and support so it is a pretty big event. This is our sixth year doing it so luckily I think I am naturally prepared enough and I have been able to get things ready while being away at college since I am not at home helping my family prepare. I am so excited for this event and I am especially excited to see so many people I have not seen in a long time.
After all the craziness of this coming weekend I do not have too many other specific plans. Something I am surprisingly excited for is to do a good closet clean out. I was home last weekend and was looking through my closet when I realized I have way too many clothes in there that I never wear anymore. So I am oddly excited to go through everything in there and my room in general to get it all nice and organized. I kind of feel old when I think about how I am actually excited to do that but oh well. I hope everyone has a great break with time to get away from school for a little bit.

Hey Mckenna! I am jealous that you get to go home early and the fundraiser you and your family does sounds so fun!! I hope you have a good spring break and enjoy your time to reset, clean your closet, and spend time with family and friends!
ReplyDeleteHi Mckenna! It sounds like you had a busy couple of days, and I can totally relate to that. It's nice to know spring break is right around the corner. I hope you have a good break, and good luck with your closet!
