  Podcasts are such an amazing way to get your mind off life or even think about life a little bit more What's funny is that you can do either. Plus, many podcasts now are ones that you can watch and that are being recorded not just to listen to but to also see on your screen. One that comes to mind immediately is the New Heights Podcast by Jason and Travis Kelce .  They have always had both versions where you could listen to it or watch it on YouTube. I bring this podcast up specifically because I am personally a fan of their podcast and I remember when they had Taylor Swift as a special guest this past August. They had announced her newest album on that episode. Then, because it was something being recorded visually they were able to present what the album cover would look like right then and there.   I have loved winter break for as long as I can remember but, with that I remember always loving the snow and cold right up until the day after Christmas. Then, I was ready for the warm weather and summer. But sadly, that is not the case in Ohio. It only gets colder for the months to come and without the holidays to look forward to and having to go back to school, it can be hard to stay motivated.  This year, I was lucky enough to escape the cold and cloudy weather for a week! Right after new year's me and my dad took a trip to Florida to soak up the sun. First, we flew into Fort Lauderdale for a few days! There, we stayed at a nice hotel right on the beach where we got to spend most of our days at. The weather was perfect because it wasn't too hot but, it also wasn't freezing.   Social media marketing is such a strong force that companies and brands can use to promote themselves and their message. But marketing through social media can also have its downsides.  First, social media marketing can benefit companies in so many ways such as promoting products and campaigns, keeping consumers informed on promotions and deals, and to engage with the community and the brands customers. I personally believe that it is so important for a brand to promote themselves on social media because so much of the consumer population relies on the different forms and apps to get information on all their favorite things. Going of that, it is now possible to target the correct audience because the numerous platforms target by age, interests and behaviors so the brands will reach the specific people who might show interest in them.  It is also beneficial for brands because social media allows for two-way communication.   I never thought joining a sorority was what my college life would look like but, it has turned out to be one of the best decisions I have ever made! When you think of a sorority or sorority girls you typically go straight to thinking about The University of Alabama where there are hundreds of members in each sorority. But here at ONU it is so different where I have close bonds with every girl! I am so grateful to have learned more about Greek Life, and I have been given so many opportunities and close friendships through the Greek community. Alpha Xi Delta has been such an amazing sisterhood to be a part of! I came into it with the best pledge class where we all got super close over the numerous events we attended together.
